This stylishly remodeled 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom apartment accommodates up to 4 guests and is named after the American author Henry James who moved to Chelsea in 1876. Enter the charming red brick building and walk up to the first floor (second floor American) where you'll find the bright and comfortable living room and dining room. The blend of comfortable furniture with antique touches gives the room the warm feel of a relaxing home.

The cozy interior is decorated with comfortable leather club chairs from the 1940's and a welcoming, 'sink-into' couch. The living room of the James apartment is the perfect spot for relaxing at the end of an exciting day out on the town seeing the top sites of London. One of the decorating highlights of the living room is the six large antique painted panels depicting sea scenes that surround the original Victorian fireplace. We think these add a unique touch and fill the room with a sense of history and elegance. The living room features all of the modern touches you'll need for relaxation and dining. Above the fireplace is a flat screen TV, and the apartment features free high-speed wireless Internet.

Just down the hallway from the living room and kitchen is the master bedroom, which features a queen sized bed, two tub-style armchairs, a desk and a beautiful large window overlooking the neighboring gardens. Imagine waking up to find this picturesque view out of the sunny bedroom window. Both of the bedrooms in the James apartment are very quiet and comfortable. For relaxing in the evenings, the master bedroom features of flat screen TV mounted on the wall opposite the bed.

The London Eye, at a height of 135 meters (443 ft), is the largest Ferris wheel in Europe. At the time it was erected, in 1999, it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160 m) in May 2006. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel", as the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only. The London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge.
