The V+A, as the Victoria and Albert Museum is called, houses important decorative arts collections as well as Islamic art and an unbeatable dress collection of garments and fashion dating from the 1300's to the swinging 60's.
- Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are nearby, great for playing, running, walking, picnicking, bicycling, rollerskating, etc.
- Walk or jump on a bus to Kensington Palace, with its beautiful gardens and Orangery. The Palace now has a museum which houses the Court Dress Collection, including some of Princess Diana's gowns. Also featured are some of Princess Margaret's rooms, sister to Queen Elisabeth. She was the first real rebel of the family, featuring lost love, divorce and a jet set lifestyle.
