The cozy and comfortable Victoria Home is located on a pretty little street in Kensington, just off Gloucester Road and near to the tube of the same name. This 3 bedroom, two and one half bathroom home sleeps up to six people. The highlight is the beautiful back garden where you can have breakfast in the morning or dine al fresco at night!

2 ½ Bathrooms: The master bathroom is on the first floor (second floor American), tiled in pale Italian marble. It has a bathtub, toilet, double sinks and built-in shower. The second bathroom is on the second floor and has a sink toilet and shower. The powder room is on the ground floor with toilet and sink.

  • Kensington: This is our favorite location in London, and the Victoria is located on a quiet street off Gloucester Road. You're a stone's throw from Kensington Garden and surrounded by excellent restaurants, supermarkets, shops and sites.
  • Stroll to Kensington Gardens - enjoy sunny days taking walks, taking children to the Princess Diana playground, rent bikes and even swim in the Serpentine!
  • Kensington Palace where Princess Diana lived is a few minutes' walk. Displays of Diana's ball gowns which you'll recognize from photographs. A fascinating display of debutante gowns from Victorian times, when young women were presented to Queen Victoria.
  • Walk to the famous Museum Row. Start with The Natural History Museum - for young and old. Enormous beautiful Victorian building - most popular wing is the Dinosaur wing.
  • Next is the Science museum with more scientific discoveries than you can remember, including a steam engine locomotive.
  • The Victoria and Albert Museum is next, filled with beautiful decorative arts and clothing through the ages.
  • The Royal Albert Hall is a few minute's walk and hosts concerts all year.
  • Three supermarkets nearby including Whole Foods, good restaurants and cafés. A good pub on the corner.
  • Walk through the Kensington Gardens to Knightsbridge, where you'll find Burberry's, Harrods and many more fashion shops.

    Here is the view from the living room towards the study. A wide balcony opens at the back and overlooks the delightful green garden. In olden days this room served as the formal dining room. The servants worked in the kitchen downstairs. Nowadays, the kitchen and dining area are combined and the living room has a study next to it.

    The most famous dress that is on loan is the midnight blue velvet ballgown by Victor Edelstein. She wore it at the White House in 1985, when she danced with John Travolta. This gown set a record of $225,000 in 1997 when Diana sold 79 of her dresses at a charity auction at Christie's New York. It broke the previous record of $145,000.

    Also featured is the pink and blue silk taffeta gown worn by Diana in Melborune Australia when she and Prince Charles lit up the dance floor.
