If you’re thinking London tastes like a fried breakfast, an Indian takeaway and perhaps few chips, then think on. London is bursting with different flavours from across the globe, and how better to excite your taste buds and learn a little about the London food scene then by taking a trip to the Taste of London Festival 2015.

Running from November 19th-22nd in the Tobacco Docks in East London, this celebration of food will see demonstrations from London’s top chefs and hottest restaurants, for delicious winter food you can make yourself at home, or in your London Perfect apartment. Or, get hands on with interactive masterclasses, then enjoy cheese, wine and chocolate tastings, and sample unique ingredients and find festive foodie gifts in the food markets.

Chefs include Marcus Wareing, one of Britain’s most respected and acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs and founder of the two Michelin starred Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, now re-launched as Marcus. Monica Galetti, chef at Michel Roux Jr’s Le Gavroche and known for her appearances on the long-running BBC series Masterchef: The Professionals. Look out also for Tom Kerridge, a much loved chef and patron of two Michelin-starred Hand and Flowers pub in Marlow in Buckinghamshire.  Plus many more besides.

Whoever you see, remember to stop in at the new Laurent-Perrier Club House, serving up the finest champagnes. Or, for something a little more British, try T2, with plenty of tea sampling and tea-related gifts for those that love a good cuppa!
