Nestled on Kensington’s Redcliffe Square, the Coleherne is a rare find. This two-bedroom, sprawling rental not only has space and style in abundance, but also some little-known history. It is just a few doors down from the apartment which features in John Landis’ iconic horror movie, An American Werewolf in London. The surrounding streets once served as a movie set! Film buff or not, you’ll fall in love with this sophisticated and spacious apartment.
The Coleherne’s entrance below the main terrace is unassuming, but a pleasant surprise awaits when you enter the totally elegant interior. A long entrance hallway greets you, leading to a large dining table, perfect for entertaining. Pass by the two generous bedrooms and follow the hall to a large and beautifully designed living room. With two full sofas, there is plenty of room to stretch out after a day of exploring the city! Off the living room you’ll find a modern kitchen, designed to fulfil all culinary needs. A small table with stools is a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The open-plan kitchen and living room only serves to emphasize the generosity of this apartment. The living room’s two French doors allow for plenty of natural light, which is accentuated by the beautiful high ceilings - a rarity in the city’s lower level apartments. The small outdoor patio is a great spot for breakfasting on a sunny day.
Each bedroom features its own en suite, while a separate half-bathroom also houses a utility area. Located below street level, the Coleherne is private and peaceful without being the least bit gloomy. Everything about this rental is special. Light, spacious and full of charm, making the Colherne your home is an opportunity not to be missed.
The Colherne is located in Kensington near the affluent borough of Chelsea, meaning you will be able to explore both easily! Situated opposite Redcliffe Garden’s Saint Luke’s Church, the Colherne’s neighborhood is quaint and peaceful, filled with local shops, cafes and restaurants. Walk to Kensington’s famous museum quarter in just 20 minutes, where you can explore the treasures of the Natural History Museum and the sumptuous collection of the Victoria & Albert. For a leisurely afternoon, walk to the Thames for a tree-lined river stroll or enjoy lunch at Chelsea’s famous Bluebird Café.
