If you are planning a Spring visit to London, we can’t think of a better place to call your home than our stylish Gladstone apartment! This lovely vacation rental is located near London’s Holland Park and Shepherd’s Bush, making it the perfect location for your city getaway.

The Gladstone offers a stylish home away from home, and is the ideal base to explore all that London has to offer. The apartment boasts a relaxing living and dining area, which is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. You also have a fully-equipped kitchen, including a four-burner induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a full-size refrigerator with freezer.

You also have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making this apartment a great choice if you are traveling with family. The Master bedroom contains a sumptuous double bed, as well as a convenient en-suite bathroom. If you are looking for some quiet, reflective time in your apartment, this bedroom also has a 32″ Samsung flat-screen television so you don’t miss out on any of your favorite shows. The second bedroom has a small double bed and also has the added benefit of  a TV, so no-one in the family feels left out.

If you and your family are planning on visiting soon, London in the spring is simply the most magical place to be; mild, breezy days, alfresco dining, and long walks in the park are all reasons to step outside and explore the city by foot.

One of our favorite places to spend an afternoon is Holland Park, which is one of the most stunning parks in all of London. This wonderful area is notable for its abundant woodland and walking trails, which is a great way to start the day, particularly now that we’re into the warmer months. Holland Park is also the perfect spot for the family to enjoy a day of sports, with facilities for tennis, golf and cricket practice.

The most beautiful area of Holland Park, however, is reserved for the very special, Japanese Kyoto Garden. It is a tranquil and serene place and is as picturesque as any park could be. The garden was donated back in 1991 by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and continues to be a highlight of the area to this day. Just don’t forget your camera as there really are so many beautiful vistas to capture.
