It’s easy to fall in love with the Wellesley mews house.
The Wellesley
For couples who prefer a bit more space, there is the Wellesley. Hidden away in a sleepy cobble-street mews, the warm and homely Wellesley is spread over two floors—but still cozy. On the ground floor, you can find a private courtyard garden with an inviting table and chairs. Since this apartment is right by the Duke of York Square in Sloane Square, considering popping out for the weekend fine food market. Stock up on artisan goods likes English fine wines and cheddars. The apartment’s garden cannot be beaten for a quaint al fresco meal.
Also on the ground floor, there’s a delightful living room and kitchen. Upstairs is the queen bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub. (There’s a shower too.) Though we love this as a couple-friendly apartment option, the sofa in the living room actually pulls out into a bed fitting one more person into this attractive little space. Other compelling features include the fireplace, walls of character-filled artwork and snug bookshelves, giving the Wellesley a sincere, lived-in feel.
