for Asquith Apartment
by Andrew Shoemaker, United States
"We had a fantastic stay at the Asquith! The main living areas and master bedroom and bath are spacious and comfortable with a great, modern style and features. The fact that it's a separate building rather than a flat made it feel even more relaxing, and allowed for lots of light in the in reception room. The second bedroom is smaller, but still a reasonable space. The best way to sum it up is that by the third day I felt at least as at home at the Asquith as I do in my own home.
One consideration is that adults may find that the single sofa bed isn't as comfortable as they might like, and it might be more suitable for a younger person. Also, the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem for us since this summer has been cool, but Americans used to universal air conditioning might be less comfortable in a particularly warm month.
We did love the location, with very easy access to a good grocery store, restaurants, pubs, shops, bakeries -- and of course, the Underground. The museums and amenities of South Kengsington are also a pleasant walk away. I'm not sure if you could find an easier place to stay for a holiday in London."
